Lunch with HRH Princess Lea of Belgium
DECEMBER 2013. The Club des Leaders received HRH Princess Lea of Belgium at the Beau Rivage in Geneva. Born in Brussels, she married Prince Alexander of Belgium, son of King Leopold III of Belgium and Princess Lilian in 1991. In 2006 she and her husband founded the Prince and Princess Alexander of Belgium Foundation aimed at financially supporting social institutions. In memory of her late husband she created a photo album titled ‘Prince Alexander of Belgium’ which is published by Editions de l'Arbre for his 65th birthday. The Princess honours her husband with this beautiful book designed to perpetuate the memory of a Prince who was relatively unknown by the general public.

Lunch with Gonzague Saint Bris
NOVEMBER 2013. Jean-Sebastien Robine, Claudia Robine and Giovanni Rondanini received the distinguished writer and historian Gonzague Saint Bris. On this occasion, Geneva's notable personalities gathered in the private reception rooms of the Hotel Beau-Rivage to listen to the brilliant presentation of his new book ‘The Marquis de Sade, the Angel of the Shadow’ published by the French editor Télémaque. The well known Swiss lawyer, Marc Bonnant, then took over to present a plea on behalf of the Marquis, which delighted the hundreds of participants who were very amused. This unforgettable lunch was accompanied by excellent red wines from the Château Plassac.

‘Chinese luxury at the conquest of Europe’
OCTOBER 2013. For the monthly lunch of the Club des Leaders at the Beau-Rivage in Geneva, Jean-Sebastien Robine, Claudia Robine and Giovanni S. Rondanini received Patrick Zanello, founder and CEO of News & Sport Factory SA, a crossmedia advertising company centered on information and sport, and blogger for the magazine BILAN. Patrick Zanello gave a talk titled ‘Chinese luxury at the conquest of Europe.’ The guests enjoyed an excellent lunch prepared by the chef Dominique Gauthier at Le Chat-Botté and wines of the Château Plassac.

OCTOBER 2013. The Club des Leaders Monaco was honored by His Majesty King Fouad II of Egypt, who led a discussion titled ‘Egypt, a fast-changing country’ during the Club's cocktails and lunch at the Hotel Hermitage in Monte Carlo.

Lunch with HRH Princess Marie Gabrielle of Savoy
SEPTEMBER 2013. At the Automobile Club de France, Jean- Sebastien Robine hosted a lunch in honour of HRH Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy, who presented the foundation that she dedicated to her parents, the last King of Italy Umberto II and Queen Marie José, born Princess of Belgium. A number of personalities from the French elite were present, including the Count and Countess of Paris, HRH Princess Lea of Belgium, HRH Princess Helene of Yugoslavia, HRH Princess Fawzia of Egypt, Princess Noelle del Drago and Count Gonzague Saint Bris.

Lunch with the French Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy
SEPTEMBER 2013. The Club des Leaders received the French Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy, special adviser in charge of innovative financing at the General Secretary’s Office of the United Nations, cardiologist, Deputy and Mayor of Lourdes and Toulouse and several times Minister (Culture, Health, ForeignAffairs), on the occasion of the release of his book ‘Solidarity will save the World’ published by Plon Editions with a foreword by Bill Clinton. The lunch with champagne cocktails was held at the Beau-Rivage Geneva. Count Audoin de Dampierre offered a tasting of his Pineau wine and cognac from the Chateau Plassac.

Rondanini, Vice-President of the Club hosted the inaugural lunch of the Club des Leaders Monaco in honour of HRH Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy, who presented her foundation ‘Umberto II and Marie Jose of Savoy’ at the Hotel de Paris in Monaco.

JUNE 2013. The Club des Leaders received Paul Dubrule, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Group Accor, for cocktails and lunch with the theme ‘Tourism, a growth factor.’ Dubrule discussed his experience with Accor at the Hotel Beau-Rivage in Geneva. Accor is the world's leading hotel operator and market leader in Europe, being present in 92 countries with nearly 3,500 hotels. Paul Dubrule is the former Mayor of Fontainebleau, former Senator of Seine-et-Marne, President of 'Entreprise et Progrès', co-founder of the World Travel and Tourism Council, Member of the Board and the Advisory Panel of the 'Institut de l'Entreprise'.

MAY 2013. Jean-Sebastien Robine, President and Founder of the Club des Leaders and Giovanni S. Rondanini, Vice President of the Club Leaders were pleased to welcome Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Hublot, at a lunch with cocktails at the "Société Nautique", the Yacht Club in Geneva. Jean-Claude Biver led an interesting discussion on the topic ‘Philanthropy and the World of Luxury’.

FEBRUARY 2013. The Club des Leaders invited Mike Perlis, President and CEO of the Forbes Media Group, Forbes, Forbes Life magazine and Forbes.com as guest speaker at the Club des Leaders lunch in Geneva. Back from Davos, Mike Perlis shared his ideas on the World Economic Forum and delivered an insight into the ongoing transformation of Forbes Media with a positioning that is preparing the company for its future development. The interview was conducted by Jack Andersson, an international consultant. The lunch was prepared by Dominique Gauthier the chef of the restaurant Le Chat Botte at the hotel Beau-Rivage, Geneva.
